Mr. Raj Raghavan also said that campaigns on social media are going on to spread awareness to the maximum number of people about the issue. He added up that a combing operation on social media has been launched by them to stop the fake advertisements regarding these employment offers. Along with that Indigo is working with the police officials too to deal with this issue.
The company officials also tried to convey the message to the public that Indigo never charges any money from the people by offering training, jobs, or internships. The company has a particular recruitment process through which the candidates are being hired.
As another way of awareness, in Indigo’s official website, they cautioned people that the company won’t charge any money for the application or registration processes for the job. This kind of surety in a job is not dealt with by the company. Indigo’s selection or recruitment is not a single-step process that can be completed by telephonic round. Fake employment offers are immensely happening nowadays irrespective of the sectors and fields.
