Merry Christmas from HRavailable
Christmas is celebrated every year on December 25 to mark the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ. The name 'Christmas' is derived from Mass of Christ (or Jesus). In a mass service, Christians remember Jesus, who died for them and then came back to life. People across the globe follow different kinds of tradition related to this day that includes decorating Christmas trees, holding feasts, exchanging gifts, church processions, and Santas visit. Each and every custom has its own importance and origin story.
The name Christmas is derived from the word Mass of Christ or Jesus. It marks the fresh beginning of the festive spirit and the year-end celebration across the world. There is no evidence of the birth of Jesus but it is recorded that the first Christmas was observed on December 25th in 336, during the time of Roman Emperor Constantine.
With the festive season around the corner, Christmas in UAE is all about bringing out the festive cheer in spades. From twinkling winter terraces to cosy ski chalet staycations, festive markets and sing along carol concerts, these are the fabulously festive events happening across UAE this winter season.
As with every year, malls and public places across the Emirates have dressed up in red and green to celebrate the annual tradition. Christmas trees, festive markets and Santa Claus letterboxes can be found across malls in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, as well as people dressed up like Father Christmas and his elves.
At Expo 2020 Dubai, visitors will find decorations across numerous pavilions, alongside live roaming entertainment and festive projections at Al Wasl dome.

It has crossed the boundaries and religious barriers to become one of the most joyous festivals across the globe.
