51st UAE National Day 2022

The UAE people celebrate their 51st UAE National Day on the 2nd of December 2022. In July 1971, six of the Trucial States (Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Umm al-Quwain, Ajman, and Fujairah) agreed on a Federal Constitution for achieving independence as the United Arab Emirates. The UAE became independent on 2nd December 1971. 51st UAE National Day 2022 is a day of happiness throughout the United Arab Emirates.

The future UAE National Day will be celebrated as an International Day of the Future as per the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

Every country in the world has a fixed date to celebrate its Independence Day. People ask every time when the UAE national day. UAE Independence Day is also celebrated throughout the United Arab Emirates every year as National Day on 2nd December. 51st UAE national day has also a history in it when this gulf country came on the map of the world in 1971.

Every Year on December 2, this is World Future’s Day. This day will invite the world to use their capabilities for future generations.

Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, mentioned in his tweet.

“The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has unanimously approved the UAE’s National Day that falls on December 2 as an International Day of Future to be celebrated worldwide where countries will dedicate the day to foresee their development future and their readiness to create their opportunities and plans for generations to come,” Sheikh Mohammed tweeted.

National Day is a designated date throughout the world on which the celebrations mark the nationhood of a nation. The UAE, and United Arab Emirates became independent on 2nd December 1971. At that time six Estates/Emirates united under a Federal Constitution. This is the United Arab Emirates. These six estates’ names are Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm al-Quwain, and Fujairah.

The UAE national day is basically a celebration of the union of the six estates while Ras Al Khaimah joins these six estates on 10th Feb1972. Now the UAE has a total of seven estates. These seven estates combined to form a modern worldwide country, headed by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the federation’s first president.

UAE Nation celebrates the national day as UAE Union day on 2nd December every year. The 51st UAE National day 2022 is not celebrated as a memory of the nationalization of the British Protectorate Treaties which was declared in 1968, instead, it is a union day for the whole UAE Nation.

The complete story of the early days when these seven estates finally decided to combine as the United Arab Emirates. Emirate’s federal constitution was approved on 1st December 1971. On a coming morning on 2nd December 1971, the seven rulers met each other in a hostel in Dubai. The six estates at that time decided to unite under the union’s constitution. On the other hand, RAK rulers did not agree at that time.

Sheikh Zayed was appointed as a foreign minister and he declared to the media about the union official. They also raised a flag in the hostel in Dubai. This place is famous as the “House of the Union”. His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan nominated the 1st official president of the union & Sheikh Rashid was elected as Vice President of the Union.

The United Arab Emirates flag has four colors in it which are red, black, green, and white. The four different colors of the flag symbolize Arabian unity. This UAE flag was adopted on 2nd December 1971.

Geographically UAE is situated in the Southeast of the Arabian Peninsula, bordering Oman and Saudi Arabia. In the early 1950s when the oil was not discovered in the UAE. The country’s economy was mostly dependent on the pearl industry and fishing before oil. Oil was discovered in most parts of the UAE in 1962. Now the country’s economy and society changed. In modern days, UAE has become a regional tourism and trading hub.
