Position Overview:
The purpose of this role is to creates a bridge between development and IT operations by taking on the tasks typically done by operations. Using automation tools to solve problems by creating scalable and reliable software systems.Key Roles and Responsibilities :The Director Site Reliability Engineer candidate will lead a team of the Application Operation that will be responsible to perform integration in the application performance management/web infrastructure space, on Windows/Linux & DOTNET platforms. Close collaboration with other engineering teams is also a key component of this role. This will require the candidate to demonstrate a broad exposure to various technologies along with a deep technical knowledge (specifically in the web/mobile, infrastructure, and network space). developing software systems and automated solutions for operational aspects that incorporates aspects of software engineering into operations thereby increasing the efficiency and reliability of software systems and improving workflow.Required Skills/Abilities:1-      At least 5 years of Leadership experience.2-      Solid understanding of the web performance 'big picture', from TCP/network level concerns through browser rendering and server-side runtime deep-dive3-      Overall understanding of microservices, multi-tier and distributed system architectures.4-      Proven track record in working with large scale, complex Engineering /Infrastructure initiatives5-      Commanding the Agile work methodology and skilled in using resource management platforms.6-      Experience in creating knowledge base (wikis), using ticketing support systems, creating full system low level design with nodes connectivity matrices.7-      Experience in the Web / Application Performance Management (APM) space: elastic, AppDyanmic, DynaTrace or similar product.

Software Engineering background experience:1-      Experience in developing in one of C/C#, Java, Perl/CGI, and/or ASP.NET applications2-      Client-side web technologies including HTML5, CSS, Ajax/JSON3-      Overall understanding of Web Services, Web API.4-      Understanding of TCP/IP at its various layers5-      Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server DB,6-      Ability to troubleshoot problems at the network layer7-      Understanding, and experience with load-balancing and clustering8-      Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server DB9-      No SQL DB like mango db, and in memory Caching db (NCache, Redis).1-   Experience with various authentication methods such as Kerberos and LDAP.11-   Windows and Linux command.
Required work experience/Qualifications/Certification: Bachelors or master’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or any related fields. Language skills:?       Required language(s): English(mandatory) and Arabic(preferred) Preferred industry/Organisation/Location: IT industryUAE-KSA-Egypt
