Business Development Manager
REPORTING LINE
Head – Projects
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES
1. Develop measurable strategic and sales and
marketing plan based on the overall Business Development strategy to track
sales performance and present realistic revenue forecasts.
2. Achieving growth and meeting sales targets by
onboarding new customers and thinking innovatively on building a strong sales
pipeline, client acquisition
3. Build strong lasting relationships with customers
as a trusted partner and work closely with delivery team to meet the needs of
the customer
4. Work with cross functional teams
5. Contribute towards brand visibility, strategic
partnerships, represent SGS at various forums
6. Guide operational team to develop pitches for new
opportunities and proposals
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITES
1. Key Responsibilities:
2. Establishing, appointing & managing new channel
partners and providing support to re-sell products/services.
3. Studying global market trends to offer critical
inputs with the sole objective of optimally catalyzing FAM Business
Development, business development and expansion experience in Indian /
outside India market.
4. recognizing business prospects and building
marketing thrust to utilize available market perspective. Working on
challenging and deadline-oriented environments, plans and commenced change
along with implementing effectually business development. strategies to grab
revenue generation, market share.
5. Instrumental in planning and conceptualizing
various sales strategies to achieve business goals, aimed towards the growth
in business volumes as well as profitability
6. Responsible for planning, designing, directing and
assessing the marketing strategies along with the executive management team
to steer new business development opportunities
7. Tracking down new business opportunities and
generating recurring business from the existing accounts by undertaking the
activities of up-selling & cross-selling
8. Establishing, appointing & managing new channel
partners and providing support to re-sell products/services
9. Steering a team of experienced sales presentative, allocating
roles and responsibilities, setting team targets and achieving revenue /
business through strategic planning and teamwork
10. Performing a periodic review to examine sales
funnel and team’s performance, impart training by identifying key areas of
improvement and helping in accordance with the organizational policy to help
team members achieve their targets.
PROFILE
·
Preferably …… with
minimum 5-10 years of experience and enough technical knowledge with an understanding of
Fixed Asset Management domain, Financial accounting , Back Office, KPO - sales, client acquisition or equivalent consulting experience.

Possesses
stakeholder management and client influencing, relationship building skills.
·
Ability to research on trending topics on FAM s.
·
Strategic thinking, problem solving skills, a bias
toward action and ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and
deliver on tight deadlines.

Works willingly and effectively with others in and
across the organization to accomplish team goals.
·
A passionate coach for your high performing team and
empowers the team and leads with empathy and integrity.
·
Basic Excel and MS Word skills, along with excellent
presentation and communication skills.
·
Functional understanding of FAM ecosystem in India
·
Past experience in FAM,
Financial accounting and software understanding and sales would be a value
addition
