DBA +
WEBLOGIC Administrator: Require profiles with below experience - DBA (L2)
position.
Database
Administrator à Oracle
Experience Required (Role based experience & Implementation Experience)


7+
years of IT experience in that 3 Years of Oracle Database Administrator
Experience plus specific experience in WebLogic Administrator.


Required
hands on experience with: Oracle OEM/Cloud Control, Oracle RDBMS 9i, 10g,
11g, 12c.


Experience
with Oracle Recovery scenarios, RMAN, Oracle RAC, Data Guard, Performance and
tuning, and MOS problem resolution.


Availability
to participate in on-call support as an escalation point from IT Operations.


Perform
production support, ongoing database administration, maintenance,
performance, installation, upgrades, backup and recovery of Oracle databases.


Managing
and Monitoring database activity related to performance, space and archival
space management, ASM (Automated Storage Management) database administration.


Good
Knowledge of various operating systems (Linux/AIX/Solaris) on which customers
run Oracle Products.


Working
experience in Oracle DB upgrade versions of 9i, 10g, 11g, 12c.


Working
experience in Oracle RAC setup & Administration and Oracle DB
troubleshooting & Performance tuning.


Working
knowledge in DR setup/standby creation and good knowledge on Database
cloning/Backup recovery.


Working
experience in Weblogic 9x,11g & 12c which includes setting up clustered
WebLogic Application Servers, JDBC/Database/Driver, Node Manager,
Transactions, JVM Memory Tuning and deployments and SSL configuration,
understanding of application architecture and implementation of HA
environments.


Working
experience in Production Support, design and administration of Weblogic
Environments, end to end SOA/Weblogic Infrastructure setup and monitoring
Weblogic Domain in Clustered environments.


Installation,
Configuration and Performing application patches, releases and deployments in
both PRE-PROD and PROD Boxes


Plan
and perform environment refresh, upgrade, patching, change management and
release management duties for SOA Middleware application stack.


Maintain
all configuration files, including: logs, security, all types of adapters,
endpoint connections, data sources and connection pools, build, deployment,
environment files, etc.


Monitoring
hosts, servers, applications, domains, components, composites, Weblogic
applications and transaction queues using OEM Control, the memory and CPU
usages using Memory profilers JRockit Mission Control, JConsole.


Managing
and Monitoring the JVM performance by tuning parameters for Weblogic Heap and
performance tuning for SOA/Weblogic stack of products such as HTTP server,
Oracle Service Bus, BI/UCM/ADF/WebCenter.


Ability
to manage client relationships and having good interpersonal, written, and
oral communication skills


Work
with Oracle to log problems and apply fixes to issues that may come up from
time to time


As a
Middleware cum Database Administrator responsible for management of Outages
on the complete SOA Infrastructure of the client. This involved sending out
appropriate notifications, identifying the root cause, identifying the
clients impacted and providing status updates to the business impacted.


Managing
and Checking Daily Health Check Reports and ensure proper actions to be taken
to avoid any incidents and making sure that environment is always available
to the end user. Making sure of day to day operational activity goes smooth
and troubleshooting critical production and support issues. Provides
resolutions for all the incidents within the stipulated SLA timings.


Able to
interact with customer user base and resolve issues quickly


Understanding
of and exposure to configuring Disaster Recovery in different environments


Secondary
Skill: MSSQL and MySQL administration experience


B.E./B.
Tech./MCA/ M.SC or higher degree from a recognized university


OEM
Certification in Database Administration


Experience
of installation, configuration, Management and Monitoring of Windows / Linux
based Database software i.e. MS SQL Database Server with high availability
solutions like clustering/Mirroring of servers. Creation & Management of
database accounts, Backups/log-shipping.
