JOB DESCRIPTION ASSIT.MANAGER- PURCHASE
Key Responsibilities :? Achieved cost-effective procurement outcomes by establishing strong
relationships with vendors and partners, and negotiating well.
? To coordinate with different departments for the planning of purchase of various
products.
? Ensure smooth, timely development and delivery of materials with quality
compliances.
? Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier performance.
? Expertise in developing vendors, reducing the cost of procurement of material.
? Develop and execute procurement strategies for purchasing of manufactured
items and raw materials, packing material and gifts item.
? Ensure that we have a strong supplier network with multiple suppliers.
? Ensuring there is ZERO plant downtime for want of material
? Ensured that all purchase operations were performed in accordance with
company policies and procedures.
? To have Communication with suppliers, regarding shortages, rejections etc.,
reported by the store department.
? To maintain an uninterrupted flow of materials to support the development
schedule and production plan.
? Liaison with accounts department for timely payment of bills.
? Keep inform to the management like under stock, over stock and damage
stock. Checking of daily stock position.
? Will be responsible to create Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order
(PO) in SAP.
? To maintain all data regarding vendors, products, trackers etc.
? Arranging logistics for all ex works materials.
? Overall responsibility of physical stock v/ s SAP stock daily & Monthly basis. &
Minimum Inventory of Raw/packing material.
? Maintain, Maximum & Minimum Stock levels, and identify the Fast, Slow, Non-Moving Materials, and plan their inventory accordingly.
