Accountability
• Maintain awareness of Outlet(s) financial performance.
• Utilize up-selling and suggestive selling techniques to enhance the
Outlets financial performance.
• Make recommendations to the Outlet Manager / Assistant Manager
for price and menu changes that will enhance profitability.
• Supervise and monitor breakage of chinaware and glassware and
the implementation of strategies to reduce where possible.
Conditions of
Work:
To work in a variety of Food & Beverage environments including indoor
and outdoor conditions, as well as exposure to smoky environments and
harsh variations in weather conditions. Some heavy lifting may be
required while on duty
Role Overview
Purpose: • Supervisors all operational aspects of a specific Outlet(s) within the
F&B department including the development and performance
management of colleagues, optimizing profits, and increasing sales.
• Supervises scheduled shifts ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Supervises all operational issues ensuring JI & MJs Standard
Operation Procedures are met and value is added to the F&B
objectives as detailed in the F&B Departmental Performance Plan.
• Assumes full responsibility for a specific shift in the absence of the
Outlet Manager / Assistant Outlet Manager.

Main Duties: • Supervises effectiveness of workflow and sequence of service
during service periods and provides constant hands-on support.
• Supervises closely and monitors the cashiering function of the
outlet to ensure compliance with JI Cashiering Procedures.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and respond to customer feedback
and complaints ensuring JI and MJ procedures for CSI and
Compliant Handling are followed.
• Informs Outlet Manager / Assistant Manager of any complaints, or negative feedback from guests after they first try to resolve.
• Actively uses the database of customer details/history to assist in
guest recognition.
• Advices the Outlet Manager / Assistant Manager of any
improvements needed in relation to restaurant operation including
updates to SOPs or addition/deletion of SOPs.
• Conduct performance evaluations of colleagues, training of
colleagues, guidance, coaching, and counseling of colleagues.
• Responsible to assist management in the identification and
recognition of any example of “excellence in service or teamwork”.

Mercury when instructed by the Outlet Manager / Assistant
Manager.
• Assist in controlling department forms and records according to the
JI standards for Document Control, including (but not limited to):
o Attendance data for colleagues

o P&L analysis
o Budgetary reports
o Telephone Test Call Results
o CSI & Customer Feedback
o Guest History Forms
Operational
• Maintain a thorough working knowledge of F&B SOPs and ensure
these are upheld at all times through constant observation and
coaching.
• Assist the Outlet Manager / Assistant Manager in the
implementation of the marketing activities and to achieve desired
results.
• Conduct the pre-service shift briefing in the absence of the Outlet
Manager / Assistant Manager
• Ensure opening and closing checklists are completed on a daily
basis.
• Supervise and monitor the completion of weekly cleaning
schedules.
• Conduct regular briefings and training sessions to ensure all
colleagues receive the information necessary to perform their jobs.
• Assist the Outlet Manager / Assistant Manager to develop and
update the F&B knowledge of all colleagues on a regular basis.
• Maintain a working knowledge of relevant sections within the JI
Food Hygiene SOP and assist the Outlet Manager / Assistant
Manager in ensuring the outlet meets these standards at all times.
Other Duties
• Carry out any other tasks defined by the F&B or Senior
Management
• Undertake assigned additional duties when required. These should
be completed prior to the opening or after the closing of the outlet.
• Ensure all colleagues attend scheduled training programs.
• Communicate new or amended procedures to relevant
departments/colleagues in a timely manner, ensuring they have
been understood when instructed by Management.
• Clearly understands their role in an emergency or evacuation.

Next to the stated gross salary, colleagues will also be eligible for
non-contracted service charges and tips. Despite the monthly fluctuations, the
service charge comes down to an estimated AED 1500 per month. Also, candidates
who speak Spanish, Italian, Russian, Arabic, French or German fluently are
eligible for 300 AED language allowance per month. Jumeirah Group will also
cover residence visa under Jumeirah sponsorship, return flights to and from
Dubai, furnished shared accommodation (2 in 1), three meals per day in the
