SAS IFRS9 (Risk Stratum)
Techno-Functional Consultant


Requirements:

• 5Y+ experience in delivery programs/transformations 
and technical roles as a
developer/consultant in SAS IFRS9 projects
 • Prior experience in implementing SAS - IFRS9 and SAS - GRC solutions
 • Well verse in parametrization and configuration setup of SAS – IFRS 9 for ECL computation
• Knowledge in doing enhancement and deployment of the model used for ECL computation
 • Experience in the BFS domain with projects in SAS - IFRS9 and SAS - GRC solutions

• Understanding of architecture principles, concepts, and ideas

• Hands-on-the-job experience in integration and implementation of SAS - IFRS9 and SAS - GRC
solutions
We are looking for

We’re looking for a Techno-Functional Consultant to provide consulting services, including solution
design and development, implementation, and project closure at customer sites.
 • A robust IT technical and functional background which is the basis for modern multi-tier, web-based, cloud-enabled architecture associated with state-of-the-art tools for development, and deployment.
 • Background in Risk Management and Banking/Insurance and general knowledge of the
Financial Services industries' regulatory and reporting frameworks.

• Experience providing domain and solution expertise to ongoing Banking related Risk &
Regulatory projects.

• Strong ability to map customer requirements and solution design using different tools,
techniques, and interfaces.

• Experience providing oversight, guidance, and expertise to ensure projects are implemented
on time and executed as designed.

• Banking, insurance (FSI space) performing extensive data management and processing
• Good business knowledge and familiarity with banking and insurance products, risk
operations and credit processes

• Ability to relate technical concepts to SAS IFRS 9 System applications and user needs.

 Key activities to do:

• Design of architecture, integrations both real-time and data layer for specific

• Being open and confident in co-designing solutions with the support of an Architect

• Part of implementation/transformation program: analysis, design & delivery.

Key Deliverables:

• Translate business and system needs into Technical Solution Design for Developers and
Testers to consume and uses Requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, verification, and
management techniques for the purpose

• Requirements gathering, data discovery, analysis, reporting.

• Part of the implementation team throughout the project execution, managing the tasks,
deliverables, risks, and issues resolution.

• Provide timely, professional, and quality delivery outputs on assigned projects, leveraging
expertise in the application of specific SAS IFRS 9 technologies, solutions, methodologies, and
project experiences
• Understands, utilizes, and communicates best practice methodologies and industry standards
internally and externally

• Engage in work efforts at all scales ranging from minor defect fixes and enhancements to
development of new applications.
 • Formulate and define systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding
combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.

• Document it as the standard guideline/procedures. Enforce in all projects’ technical
requirement processes and monitor the outcome.

• Assists in analyzing testing results throughout the project

• Develop professional deliverables such as Technical Specifications, Data Mapping, Design,
Business Rules, Test Strategy, Test Scripts, and Technical Guides.

• Interpret regulatory guidelines in risk management to be configured and coded into SAS IFRS
9 systems
