Procurement Exp) .
Professional Summary: Supply Chain Planner with
experience in planning, sourcing, buying and monitoring of finished product
movements so as to procure raw materials and packing material. Having
exceptional knowledge on EXIM, SCM & possessing excellent communication and
problem-solving skills.

Education & qualification: Supply Chain Management / MBA
(SCM / Logistics)



Job Location- Dubai, UAE

Industry- Petrochemicals / Lubricants Mandatory.

Experience- 8 to 10 Years in Paint and coating raw
material or trading experience (Mandatory), Supply chain activities in Bulk
(Mandatory)



Salary – 6000 to 8000 AED

Last Working Industry- Chemical Plant / Paint and Coating
Industry (Mandatory)



Roles & Responsibility:

- Manage planning, sourcing, buying and monitoring
activities in a cost-effective manner.

- Experience in procurement and liaise with suppliers, manufacturers
and relevant vendors to arrange all the raw materials for production including
but not limited to packaging material, labels, base oils, additives, wax,
Chemicals, Specialty Chemicals etc.

- Receive and analyze Purchase Requisitions from Mech/Electrical/Instrumentation/
Maintenance Dept, Factory Raw Materials-Production and send enquiry to
suppliers

-Receive quotations, conduct price and cost analysis of
proposals.

- Expedite placement of purchase orders to ensure timely
delivery of material.

- Negotiate payment terms with new Vendors and improve
payment terms with existing Vendors.

- Coordinate with local freight forwarders to ensure smooth
flow of logistics.

- Facilitate preparation of LPO with support from accounts
and process requisitions and PO for supplies & Coordinate with the dispatch
Officer in factory to ensure the good received

- Authorize invoices as per LPO issued, verify based on
quantity, quality of goods indicated and advise the Accounts dept to proceed.

- Recommend sources, price levels and delivery lead times,
procurement strategies for local and international sourcing.

 

- Co-ordinate with the factory manager to ensure accuracy
and availability of all raw materials & packaging materials and remove
bottlenecks if any.

- Identify appropriate suppliers from the approved vendor
list, obtain quotes, reviews and analyze quotations, negotiation of price,
obtain approvals, preparing purchase orders, verify accuracy and completeness
of the order.

- Reduce logistics costs through cost effective purchases,
i.e. bulk buying through Vessel.

- Maintaining records of suppliers/ service provider’s
contracts, agreements.

- Employ various cost savings initiatives to include
alternative vendor sourcing and vendor negotiation.

- Prepare weekly and monthly procurement planning by
coordinating with the Plant Manager & Directors

- Coordinate with QC Dept to ensure the specs of raw
materials to be procured are in line with the production requirements

- Coordinate and negotiate with suppliers & manufacturers
to procure production related machinery including small pack filling lines,
drum filling lines, carton sealer machine, carton strapping machine, shrink
wrapping machine etc.

- Follow-up for timely payment to suppliers and Co-ordinate
with accounts department for resolving invoice discrepancies
