Job Description
Manager - Warehouse Operations
a) Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline from a recognized professional
institution, or Bachelor in commerce or business administration with additional 2
years of experience or Diploma in Engineering with additional 5 years of experience
or an equivalent Educational Qualification approved by the Head of Warehouse.
b) Minimum 18 years' experience in a warehousing environment with a minimum of 7
years in the oil and gas sector and with at least 5 years at the supervisor level.
c) Highly proficient in MS Office, and (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project)
d) Proficiency with SAP MM and WM module is an advantage.
e) Good experience with Quality concepts. (ISO 9001 Series).
f) Good written and oral communication skills in English.
g) Good leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.
h) Good experience in dealing with vendors, suppliers and contractors in Oil and Gas
sector.
i) Good adaptability to multinational environments, with wide exposure to various
cultures and customs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
a. Provide supervision, leadership and guidance to Deputy Managers reporting to
him.
b. Ensure all warehouse operations is managed with complete compliance to
COMPANY’s policy and procedures, maintaining uniformity across all
warehouses.
c. Take initiative in developing optimization and enhancement strategies and
implementing them, when approved by company
d. Develop and implement service level agreements for all WH services uniformly
across all warehouses
e. Maintain smooth coordination with all end-user focal points and other Supply
organizations.
f. Work with CONTRACTOR Focal Point, Deputy Managers, and COMPANY Head
of Warehouse closely to update statistics and ongoing activities on a daily basis
and ensure smooth operation and unform policy & procedure implementation.
g. Monitor KPI performance and take adequate measures to improve.
h. Ensure Safety compliance and leadership.
i. Ensure all materials and equipment are receipted, as per the company purchase
order and documentation is completed within time.
j.Ensure material and equipment is stored safely, securely and preserved in
accordance with manufacturer recommendations or Preservation Procedure.
k. Ensure the environment and conditions for personnel working within the
warehouse facility conform to Qatargas SHE requirements and State of Qatar
laws, rules and regulations for labour.
l. Support all warehouse asset cycle count activities in accordance with Company
procedures and financial requirements.
m. Support Deputy Managers (3PL) in Controlling and monitoring of the
warehouse contractor staff.
n. Ensure all materials are issued on time as per the demand report.
o. Ensure coordination with Shutdown team for planned and unplanned work
activities as required.
p. Ensure all resources required to support Shutdown activities are in place to
issue and handover requested material to the Shutdown materials team.
q. Ensure all warehouse activities are performed in a safe manner.
r. Ensure the safe and secure delivery of Chemicals and Gases to destinations
within Company facilities and designated locations inside RLIC.
s. Ensure the timely removal for expired / obsolete Materials/Spare Parts from
the stock inventory and business system after notification from Materials
Inventory section.
t. Ensure all chemical and gases (as identified) are stored and controlled by the
Company business batch management system.
u. Provide warehousing/storage solutions and support, for Project related
materials and equipment.
v. Co-ordinate with Maintenance and Procurement sections for the safe and
secure delivery and return of materials and equipment designated as "Repair
and Return" in line with P&Ps.
w. Communicate any concerns regarding, warehouse operations, unsafe activities
and KPIs in a timely manner to Senior Warehouse Officer and Head of
Warehouse for earliest resolution
