Deputy Manager - Warehouse Operations

 a) Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline from a recognized professional
institution, or Bachelor in commerce or business administration with additional 2
years of experience or Diploma in Engineering with additional 5 years of experience
or an equivalent Educational Qualification approved by Head of Warehouse.

b) Minimum 15 years' experience in a warehousing environment with a minimum of 7
years in the oil and gas sector and with at least 5 years at the supervisor level.

c) Highly proficient in MS Office, and (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project)

d) Proficiency with SAP MM and WM module is an advantage.
 e) Good experience with Quality concepts. (ISO 9001 Series).

f) Good written and oral communication skills in English.

g) Good leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member. 
h) Good experience in dealing with vendors, suppliers and contractors in Oil and Gas
sector.

i) Good adaptability to multinational environments, with wide exposure to various
cultures and customs.


j) Roles & Responsibilities:

a. Provide supervision, leadership and guidance to the team reporting to him.
b. Manage Local warehouse operations with complete compliance to
COMPANY’s policy and procedures.

c. Maintain smooth coordination with other Deputy Managers, end-user focal
points, other supply organization personnel and uniformity across teams.

d. Work with Warehouse Manager and the COMPANY Sr. Warehouse Officer
closely to update statistics and ongoing activities on a daily basis and ensure
smooth operation and unform policy & procedure implementation.

e. Monitor KPI performance and take adequate measures to improvement.

f. Ensure Safety compliance and leadership to his team.

g. Ensure all materials and equipment are receipted, as per company purchase
order and documentation is completed within time.

h. Ensure material and equipment is stored safely, securely and preserved in
accordance with manufacturer recommendations or Preservation Procedure.
 i. Ensure the environment and conditions for personnel working within the
warehouse facility conform to company SHE requirements and State of Qatar
laws, rules and regulations for labour.

j. Support all warehouse asset cycle count activities in accordance with Company
procedures and financial requirements.

k. Arrange and follow up for maintenance activity for Warehouse Materials
Handling Equipment (Forklifts, Truck, Pick-ups, Container loader, overhead
crane, etc.) through Sr. Warehouse Officers.

l. Coordinate and follow up with FM (Facility Management) for warehouse
building-related maintenance activity.

m. Provide support to Maintenance sections for regular PPM and Preservation
services on materials and equipment held as stock inventory.

n. Control and monitor the warehouse contractor staff.

o. Ensure all materials are issued on time as per the demand report.

p. Ensure coordination with Shutdown team for planned and unplanned work
activities as required.

q. Ensure all material required for Shutdown are issued and handed over on time
to the Shutdown materials team.

r. Ensure coordination with nominated Maintenance sections for regular PPM
and Preservation services for warehouse facilities and equipment.

s. Appropriate direction of warehouse contractor staff to ensure work is
performed in a safe manner
t. Ensure the safe and secure delivery of Chemicals and Gases to destinations
within Company facilities and designated locations inside RLIC.

u. Ensure the timely removal for expired / obsolete Materials/Spare Parts from
the stock inventory and business system after notification from Materials
Inventory section.

v. Ensure all chemical and gases (as identified) are stored and controlled by the
Company business batch management system.

w. Provide warehousing/storage solutions and support, for Project related
materials and equipment.

x. Co-ordinate with Maintenance and Procurement sections for the safe and
secure delivery and return of materials and equipment designated as "Repair
and Return" in line with P&Ps.

y. Communicate any concerns regarding, warehouse operations, unsafe activities
and KPIs in a timely manner to Warehouse Manager(3PL) and Sr. Warehouse
Officer
