This position is for our banking client based in India.

Job responsibility:
Work activitiesAs a bank customer service officer, you would:accept cash or money orders deposited by customers, credit customers' accounts and issue receipts and statementspay money to or credit accounts for customers according to advice slips, cheques or other banking documents, and debit appropriate accountsconduct foreign currency transactions for overseas travellersprovide change and cash chequesbalance cashanswer customer enquiriesidentify customer needs and refer customers to appropriate banking services and specialistsopen and close accounts.Key skills and interestsTo become a bank customer service officer, you would need:good communication and interpersonal skillsthe ability to make calculations quickly and accuratelygood IT skillsstrong organisational skills.
