Job Description

The Lead Application Engineer is responsible for providing world - class assistance to customers in the usage of Semiconductor BU products, to leverage customer knowledge and relationship to proliferate new solutions, as well as to use domain & customer knowledge to drive new products development. knowledge and experience in the areas of SoC Physical design, Custom circuit analysis, Power - integrity and Reliability sign - off, Timing and Noise analysis with various CAD tools to help customers solve complex problems on leading edge System - on - Chips. domain - knowledge and knowledge of customer workflows to drive development of new state - of - the - art products/solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Support / Proliferation

Product Engineering

Leverage knowledge gained from customer workflows and challenges to drive development of new products / solutions.
Perform / lead in - depth validation to ensure the new solution meets the requirements.
Work with advanced customers to develop early proof - points and successful deployments.

Pre - sales Assistance

Consistently improve our understanding of customer workflow and technical needs and communicate new opportunities and risks to Sales; proactively work to grow the software usage by demonstrating new solutions based on the ANSYS vision and software

Leadership

Hold progress update meetings with global and local customers
Mentor AE team by using tool knowledge and domain expertise
