Job Description

     Food and beverage serving and related workers take and prepare orders, clear tables, and do other tasks associated with providing food and drink to customers.
Greet customers and answer their questions about menu items and specialsTake food and drink orders from customersPrepare food and drink orders, such as sandwiches and coffeeRelay customers’ orders to other kitchen staffServe food and drinks to customers at a counter, at a stand, or in a hotel roomAccept payment and provide customers with receiptsClean assigned work areas, such as dining tables or serving countersStock service stations, cabinets, and tablesSet tables or prepare food stations for new customers

• having the capacity to lift heavy items on occasion
