Job Description
A technician is a skilled employee who repairs, installs, replaces, and services various types of equipment and systems. Each day, a technician spends time tackling different tasks, depending on the issue, such as analyzing problems, running tests, and repairing equipment.
Perform maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment/installations and general inspections of the buildings, consistent with industrial practices and compliance to health and safety standards.
Fill out servicing reports and keep records on services that have been performed.
Attend to on-site M&E breakdown and emergency situation, and report/escalation of the incident to management/Call-centre.
Provide on-site supervision of workers and contractors.
Verification and certification of work done in accordance to issued Works Order, including submission and filing of document.
Build and maintain relationships with customers including explaining issues with equipment and repairs to users.
Any other ad hoc duties e.g. paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks, carpentry works, housekeeping etc as assigned by Management.
