Sales Associate (Code: G-AE1-SA)
Key Accountabilities:We are looking for a Sales Associate who will also advise clients on their beauty needs with the overall goal to drive customer delight and sales performance. You will be on a team that will own the overall success of the store. 
As Sales Associate you will be responsible for three areas:Sales Advisor: Sales Advisor responsibilities include listening to and understanding customer needs, educating them on what clean beauty is, suggesting clean products that meet clients’ needs and informing customers about product details, like ingredients, application methods and price. To be successful in this role, you are customer-service oriented, curious to learn and are familiar with a wide range of beauty products.Meeting Individual Sales Targets: Each member of the team has individual sales targets and you will be required to meet these targets. You will also be eligible for variable compensation when sales targets are exceeded.Contributing to Store Success: In your role as a Sales Associate, you will be entrusted with tasks that contribute to overall store success. This includes getting involved with other tasks, such as but not limited to monthly brand sales reconciliation, helping as a cashier when necessary, reconciliation of inventory or taking inventory stock, to help the team deliver the success metrics of the store. This allows the candidate to learn and expand their skillset as a team player.Ultimately, you will help achieve your sales quotas while promoting our clean and conscious beauty products that are right for our clients.ResponsibilitiesGreet customers upon their arrivalIdentify customer needs and recommend beauty products based on their preferencesDemonstrate proper use of makeup and skin care productsHelp clients find products they’re looking for in our storeEnsure proper presentation of products on shelvesExplain to customers how to use products they’re interested in buyingAdvise customers on how to take care of their skinInform customers on prices and special offersCross-sell beauty products, when appropriate (e.g. serums, body lotions and hair care products)Support cashier responsibilities and checking consumers outReplenish stock as neededRequirements and skillsPrevious experience as a Beauty Advisor or similar roleCustomer service experience in retail stores is a plusExtensive knowledge of makeup, hair care and skin care productsAbility to demonstrate and promote beauty products on the spot (e.g. how to apply face creams)Understanding of which products suit different skin typesExcellent communication skillsAbility to remain calm and pleasant during peak hoursHigh school diplomaAdditional education in Cosmetology or relevant field is a plus?Job Type: Full-time
