The early childhood education coordinator reports to the executive director. The early childhood education coordinator provides technical assistance, mentoring, training and coaching to all classroom staff. Responsible for all curriculum and related areas.Essential FunctionsInsures adequate classroom coverage in accordance with licensing standards.Helps new hires get acclimated and situated at NurseryPlans, implements and follows up on field trips.Plans, implements and follows up on all center special events.Monitor the implementation of the curriculum in the classrooms by visiting and observing classrooms on a regular basis.Provide guidance and support to staff with the implementation of the curriculum.Supervises all classroom practices including but not limited to lesson plans, room arrangement,daily schedules, identify and prioritize the need for supplies and children’s assessments.Approves, monitors staff Personal and sick time to plan the center daily operations.Monitor students’ progress and provide students and staff with assistance resolving any concerns.In conjunction with executive director and classroom staff conduct parent/teacher meetings.In conjunction with executive director makes referrals to parents for support/assistance fromoutside agencies.Develops annual calendar of staff training and submits to executive director for approval.In conjunction with executive director evaluates classroom staff.Identify staff training needs, setting goals and implement training plans.Conduct teacher and teacher assistant meetings/trainings.Maintain a positive rapport with parents.Conduct tours for prospective families on an as needed basis.Ensures the safety and well being of the children, staff and volunteers.Assumes other duties as assigned by the executive director.QualificationsComplete knowledge of the EYFSAttested bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood education, Psychology or related field.Attested Master’s degree in related field.Minimum of 3 years working in an Early Childhood Program.Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.Ability to interact and communicate (written and oral) effectively with children and adultsWhen applying , please make sure to mention your Place of residence, your current Visa status and your salary expectation.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
