Job Description
Experience – At least 2-5 years of experience in tailoring, preferably in stitching traditional Omani attire (dishdasha, abayas, kanduras) or modern fashion.Educational Qualification – No formal education is required, but a diploma or certification in tailoring/fashion design is an advantage.Knowledge of Fabrics – Understanding different fabrics such as cotton, silk, and polyester, and how they respond to stitching and ironing.Pattern Making & Cutting – Ability to measure, mark, and cut fabric accurately based on customer specifications.Sewing Machine Proficiency – Skilled in using various sewing machines, including industrial and computerized sewing machines.Alterations & Repairs – Experience in clothing modifications, adjustments, and repairing garments.Attention to Detail – Ensuring precision in stitching, fitting, and finishing.Customer Service Skills – Ability to communicate with customers, understand their requirements, and offer design recommendations.Teamwork & Time Management – Ability to work independently or in a team and manage deadlines effectively.
