Transport children to and from school in the mornings and afternoonsVerify permissions for children who ride home with friendsMaintain a clean and mechanically-sound bus at all timesObey all traffic lawsPerform inspections of the bus before and after each routeEnsure safety of all studentsDiscipline children when required to maintain a safe and healthy environmentAssist students with getting on and off the bus when requiredAttend monthly safety meetings

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 1+ years’ experience driving a school bus (training provided for the right candidate)
• no at-fault traffic accidents in the last 5 years
• clean driving record (no traffic citations in last 5 years)
• ability to carry out assigned route on time
