Responsibilities and Duties
·
To promote the goods & products of the company
in line with its standard sales strategies and literature
·
Approach management representatives of top FM
Companies to convince the prospective clients or business partners to buy products
or services offered; add and develop a new business segment.
·
Influencing & convincing the clients to buy
merchandise/goods, or otherwise changing their minds or actions. Provides
technical expertise & services to clients relating to use, operation, and
maintenance of equipment.
·
Interact with clients & establish good rapport,
determine customer needs & provide a clear interpretation of their
requirements, explain & relate benefits to product features. Promote new
products to the FM Channel Partners.
·
Generate & collect enquiries from FM Companies and
other customers.
·
Draw up sales or service contract (Quotations) for
products or services and provide customers with quotations, constantly visit
the customer, negotiate the terms of an agreement and close the deal.
·
Conduct customer satisfaction survey in order to
analyse and measure company’s product quality and services for continuous
improvement.
·
Ensure that the customer services provided is of
the highest quality and in line with company services standards.
·
Providing consultation and expert advice to
management or other groups on technical, systems-related, or process related
topics of company products.
·
Reviews customers to develop and prepare cost
estimates or projected sales increases. Draws up or proposes changes in goods
& equipment, processes or services resulting in cost reduction or
improvement in customer service.
·
Acts as good ambassador of the company, projects good
image of the company outside and collects market developments and competitor’s
activities.
·
Monitor and report on market and competitor
activities and provide relevant reports and information and also Watch
competitors activates and report to General Manager – Channel Sales.
·
Achieve the set ‘Sales Target’.
·
Review credit applications of the customers and
ensures that credit is extended only to credit worthy dealers.
·
Ensure timely collection of payments.
Order
processing
·
Ensure that customers fulfil
all criteria of the contract such as payment, signing of agreements, guarantees
etc.
·
Liaise with the accounts department to ensure all
invoices are issued and payments are received on time.
·
Deal with all customer complaints and ensure each customer
is satisfied with the outcome to the best of our abilities.
·
Liaise with warehouse & logistics and ensure
the timely delivery of the units. Confer with dealer/customers to make sure all
issues are sorted with regard to delivery and contracts.
·
Address all the warranty issues of our products
arising in the dealer marketing; provide solution and timely service in
coordination with sales coordinator.
·
To make monthly and annual reports to HOD on sales,
customer satisfaction, inventories reports etc as per the standard forms
currently in use. To ensure HOD is aware of all current and relevant issues.
·
To maintain call reports with regard to visits to
daily customer and report to General Manager – Channel Sales.
·
To monitor and survey the current client base in
order to gain market research through written and verbal questionnaires.
·
To monitor the current market situation and report
on projects and general business environment.
